Pastor David Rizzetto  was saved in 1971 during the Jesus Movement among the hippies where  he met his wife Joanne and they were married in 1973.  They have three children and seven grandchildren. David attended Lehigh County Community College where he majored in Criminal Justice.  He also has BA and a Masters Degree from Andersonvlle Theological Seminary. David and Joanne both have a heart for all people especially for the youth of New York City.

The Open Door Church began in 2012 and the ministry focuses on sound biblical teaching  with an emphasis on discipleship, bible prophecy,and evangelism. We are also affiliated with Moriel Ministries which operates internationally teaching the word of God from a Hebraic  perspective.
